The Tevelein family were Huguenot refugees who fled France due to religious persecution in the 17th century.

My branch of the family settled in Canterbury, Kent where in 1829 my great great grandmother Mary was born. She married Benjamin John Jones in 1859 in Southwark, living later in Westminster and Battersea. They had 5 (known) children.
