Edward
VII, son of Queen Victoria, was born at Buckingham
Palace in 1841 and died there in 1910. He ruled from 1901-10 as
the only monarch from the House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha which was renamed
Windsor in 1917. He was buried in St
George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
